About the book

A photo book with a scientific approach to climate change in the local environment. In addition to the photographs, the book also includes some explanations about the changes and scientific research.

Concept

Each chapter of the book addresses a problem that has arisen due to climate change. The final chapter shows how scientists conduct research into these changes.

Design

The cover of the book features a title and photograph that deliberately leave the location ambiguous.

A selection of different fonts was used to support the scientific theme and its explanatory text. This typographic variation helps titles and quotations stand out, giving readers a clear and immediate grasp of the content.

The typography combines serif and sans-serif fonts to create contrast and structure. The page numbers are partially submerged—an evocative detail symbolizing our slow descent as the water creeps ever closer to our lips.
